COPS Uganda, bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do……

We went to get supplies in town this morning as we sat there a van/taxi drove up in front of a row of boda bodas (mini bikes) out of the van jumped about ten police officers and took the motorbikes from the drivers keep in mind AKA 47 type machine gun as well. Come to find out the bodas were parking there illegally and the police were taking them to the courthouse so the drivers will come pay the fine. Man that’s harsh, how would you feel If we had police like that?

...The Women's ministry and Children's programs are off and running. The Church has half the roof and front steps done. Stage is being created and is looking great. All team members are well and working hard in all areas. Teamwork and cooperation are the words of the day. It’s hot here & we are really drinking a lot of water.

The hostel (sleeping quarters) is beautiful, we all are sharing rooms, have cold water to bathe in, toilets in the rooms (a toilet seat would be a nice added touch) but we are not complaining We do seem to have evening visitors, like spiders as big as the palm of a man’s hand , snails, frogs, and gecko’s.

The people are beautiful and loving. This is a small village we had about 20 women and about 50 kids so far. The men are all working on the church. Women of this church are always put first. Great Teamwork. All is well ...
