Made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are here. We arrived at 8:00 pm Uganda time Sunday night. We are 8 hours ahead of you.

The Stevenson's home is beautiful. There are so many flowering trees and everything is green and lush. The Stevenson's have a large fenced and gated area with a guest house, shower house and toilet house. Arriving last night in the dark it was hard to see very much. What a surprise this morning to wake up to the sounds of East Africa birds and to look out upon the God's beautiful creation!

Computer connections aren't the best here so it may limit pictures we can send you. We're still working out all the computer connections so watch for a picture hopefully later today or tomorrow.

Today is a day to rest up. Some of the church members are making lunch at the jobsite for us at noon. We're going to have an orientation meeting at 11:00 this morning and spend the day learning more about Uganda and seeing our surroundings.

We arrived with all our luggage....minus 6 totes. The ones with the tools in them. Hopefully they will still arrive, just a bit later. A tip for Team Two: When you check in at the airport, place your tote tracking adhesive sticker on the matching inventory sheet in Carl's book along with the name of the traveler who checked it in. That way it will be easy to inventoy which box is missing (if any) upon your arrival.

Another tip: Carl, when you get to the airport in Entebbe, and are preparing to go through customs, gather all of the team's passports together and prepare to pay with one payment ($50 each person). They are so gracious at this airport. Don't worry about not having the street address or phone number on your immigration forms. The box number on the Stevenson's brochure that each team member has in their books in sufficient. (They never even looked at the immigration form).

Jason, don't worry. We found your replacement! There's always one in every group. Carla seems to have your same knack for drawing attention from the authorities. She's the one in the group that never seems to make it through security with the rest of us. (We've warned her to stop taking pictures at the airport.) :)
